Easy to make cranberry sauce

Cranberry sauce always tastes better when it's homemade. Thankfully, it's very easy to make it.

You control what goes in it, so you can adjust it to your likings and dietary needs.
I made this one with turkey dinner in mind, so you might want to add some more sugar if you plan to use it as a dessert filling.
Ingredients:
-3 to 4 teaspoons of sugar
-50 ml of water
-a small cup of cranberries (250ml/8.7 oz)
-one medium orange
-a handful of roasted, chopped chestnuts
- 5 fresh mint leaves

Instructions:
Peel the orange, divide it into pieces. Pour 50 ml of water into a pot. Add cranberries, orange segments, mint leaves, and sugar. Cook your mix on a small fire (stirring continuously) until it boils.

Mash everything with the potato masher.

Stir in chopped chestnuts and cook it for about 1 minute.

You can serve it with roasted turkey, chicken, or beef, freeze it for later, or use it fresh as a pie filling.

Bon appetit!
